Hi guys, I'm new to CrystalXP, well at least as a member, I always have admired the job of the crystalizers in here. I'm a developer in progress and I really love to design. I have some PS experience and I'm doin all the tutorials in here, there are just awesome. I want to make my homepage and I'm learning how to design it. I was thinking of the logo. I did one, i actually have the idea really well but it's just i dont have the skill (yet i want to believe).

That was my attempt after searching all the internet for habanero images   but I really like the toonish look, like Crystal Clear Theme, but an habanero was more difficult to get. If anyone here can help me with ideasor design I would appreciate it a LOT! I actually want to learn how so I can upload content in here. Even a 256x256 transparent png icon of a Crystal Habanero (like the ones in the icon packs) would be great I'll try to go from there, but of course if you got better ideas Ill be in forever debt  . Im looking for a minimalistic design like Everaldo's homepage, with my logo and/or a ar with waves like the ones I see everywhere   with orangish colors, cause I think thats going to be the look.

Hi Asher,   sorry if I extended to long in the post. Yeah I would like a Crystalized Habanero   but thats just my conception, any other cool design of an Habanero for all sizes (logo/banner/button or any that would fit) would be awesome. I´m open to ideas. It's just I love the crystalized form, and I can imagine the "Crystal Habanero" right now LOL.

Thanks Asher, I had no idea how you did this amazing art. The whole layer overlay to achieve shadows and lights. Really thank you a lot. I saw u actually took an image of an habanero to make the contour and that   I was wondering if you could take the one I attach as base image. Dunno how long it takes to make one, and hope its not too much to ask for it. But now that I "know" the process I'll try to make one too.

Do you know a tutorial or something to learn how to do the wave-like headers like the one on this forum or Everaldo.com webpage?? I'll apreciate it a lot.  

I am not quite sure about any tutorial but luckily I myself tried them ocne and achieved these results:

Phrozen Believe me , for the second effect I haven't use even a bit of Pen-Tool , I have used just filters , however the first one is made completely by Pen-Tool

I'm new to this forum and I think it's great to know people who can help you with different things. I run a financial services online company, and at the moment I have  a group of people designing my website which you'll be able to see as soon as it's ready.

I like the logo you have come up with very much, and I kind of envy people who have such creativity and ability to work with graphic design tools.

Anyway, as I told you before I'm having my website designed by http:thenetmencorp.com. I came across this company while doing some reasearch on the net, and to be honest, I'm very happy with the first drafts they have provided me with.
