I'm almost done with my site graphical part, only thing i need now is a header logo.
My site header is in 2 parts: backround header and .png logo on top of it. Now i would like to request my own .png logo.
Here is details:

* The dimensions: height: 140  width: only limit is text size
* Font: "they're coming to take me away"  (this is the funniest fontname i have ever seen   ) If anyone needs that font, here is the link:
* Text: ALKOPORTAL  (all caps)
* Text size: as big as it can be, only limit is height  140 pixels
* Text color: red
* effect: crystal look, transparent backround, light shadow

The original logo (header) i have, was made of one friend of mine, you can see it at my website: www.alkoportal.info That header is in one piece. Now i'm going to change my site cms and it has two part header, you can see it here: www.alkoportal.info/testportal/

I know, that original dimensions are 150*150, but it doesn't actually matter, it can be any size

The font is not good enough to be crystallized , it had to be remained as it is , you must choose another (particularly bold and plane) font if you want to use crystallization on it , also specify the width of the header

Like i sayd, my site header is in two parts:
one is backround: 13*150 pixels .png image repeating itself (as much as needed, to fit in the window)
other is logo, that acts like layer on the header. That logo can be 150*as_much_as_needed pixels (original is 150*150 picture i posted in the first post) Only limit here is height (150), width can be any size

Sorry, that you can't use my font for logo.

EDIT: if you can't use crystall effect, can you at least try to use any other effect. I really like that font    ... adding any style to text would be alot better than just plain text. I experimented with gimp, but only thing i was able to do, was nice shadow ... everything else i tryed was just (insert word here)

The text (alkoportal) needs some little effects. Plain text isn't the thing i'm looking for ... sorry.
There must be something, that can be done ... shadows for example (like you made ), some reflections ...anything ... when i "played" with photoshop at my friends house, i managed to create some nice text effects, that was the first and last time i ever used it. Now my friend is living in Finland and i havent seen him looooong time so he can't help me  
To point out what i'm looking for: here is a wallpaper my friend made:

Something i made in a few minutes, just say what needs improving.

Nice, i like it so far but some modifications needs to be done.
First, backround must be transparent. Second: it must be only text, the red stuff? (thing?) behind text must be gone ... it will not go with my theme. Red color could be little brighter, not like "help, my eyes are bleeding" bright red, just little brighter

Overall ... i like where this is going    ... maybe some little tuches and it's done

I rezized that picture with gimp and uploaded to my site.
I like the color, that is just perfect  
Only thing, that's needed to remove or change, is all that yellow static, it just don't look good. Here is a screenshot:

Well, if you wanto, you can make christmas version of that logo too ... just found out, that my site has "christmas mode"   :^^:  It turns out, that i can turn on the "snow" effect and "christmas images" effect. The last one changes my site theme, so i think i will not use it ... i like the one i have right now  
The snow effect only adds falling snow, i just enabled that on my testsite You can find the link at my first post if you are intrested.
Anyway, the "christmas version" of logo isn't nessesary but if you have some free time and wanto make something, i would be glad to use it.

Here is what i think needs to be fixed:
The snow effect is wrong ... right now it looks like glasure on the letters ... maybe make it little more like ... snow (this is the point, when my brain gived up finding right english word to describe snow )
Also maybe some christmas graphic maybe?

The letters L and K need more snow, maybe the second O too

There is only one problem left: the letter O shadows, they are cut away like i showed you in Post 13 last page ... If you fix that, then it's complete

EDIT: I modifyed it a little with gimp (some letters had too sharp edges at the bottom, so i used the blur tool) and now it's 78.2 KB ... is that too much for a header? Is there anyway to make it little smaller ... let's say around 50 KB whitout loosing too much of quality of picture?
