I have a question: how you have made the eighth layer(Calque in yyy signature?

I made another.. It's not that customisable, as the layers are merged except the text.

it's easy:  

there are differente ways to do that, I'll explain only one, the other ways are very similar

use the elliptical marquee tool
like this:

then inverse the selection (right click on the selction)

in the layer box
Do a CTRL+Shit+Alt and clic on the backgound image (layer 2 on the yyy PSD)

set a white foreground color
select the gradient tool
and then "Foreground to Transparent"
like on this following image

and use the gradient , do sometthing like from the top left corner of the selection to it bottom right corner

And you're done

select the layer (the white gradient layer) in the layer box and change it opacity (in the top left edge of the layer box)
It's the easiest way to solve your problem

Another way would be to start the begining of the gratient out of the selection and not in the corner

I think the first way is the easiest and fastest way
