hi everyone,

i tried to search the forums but i could not find a page to see how to make a vista type folder icon.

i am sure there must be a sure set of rules to make them.

can anyone tell me a link to a tutorial or teach me how to make a vista type icon folder?

I am only looking to make the outer cover part.

is ripped out from Vista, which I think is illegal I have Vista and it is completely the same. The first set:

is really similar to Vista icons but they might be ripped out and only recolored. But maybe they aren't

but i am looking for a tutorial to make one of these. i tried making on my own, but no success.

After some long searching, I had only one small result that could help you out. At this location you can download the .psd's of someone who created folders. I think they're a bit Vista like. There's no tutorial and they're not completely Vista style but I hope you can still use it. For example to see how it's done.

Yes, there already is a PSD. But, I would like to have sosoe322's Psd too becasue his is glassier (not that yours is bad, gandof! ).
