thanks in advance | |
uttaresh The Penguin Master Profil: Penguin Pro | Basically, first make a guitar using any colors. Then, give it the shadows, highlights, and shines in separate layers. After that, just set the opacity of the original guitar layers to zero. ---------------

uttaresh The Penguin Master Profil: Penguin Pro | No, those just don't look like glass. Let Asher have a go. No offence, but he's probably the only one on the English section who can pull something like this off. ---------------

uttaresh The Penguin Master Profil: Penguin Pro | Hey, where's my post gone!? Anyway, I think that looks really nice and realistic, x3lumin8x. But what about the strings, kobby things, holes, etc.? Oh, and I don't think you made that in Photoshop ... looks like you used some sort of 3D program. ---------------

Does that matter anything? Great result x3lumin8x. | |
uttaresh The Penguin Master Profil: Penguin Pro | No, it doesn't. I'm just wondering ... is it a 3D program or is it PS? ---------------

truth ------------------------- Profil: Top Penguin | wonderful, x3lumin8x. Good work. just make the surroundings less reflective. EDIT: also, I guess mental ray includes Glass material in architectural or may be glass-physics material. and some caustics will add to the reality. Good bye friends.

uttaresh The Penguin Master Profil: Penguin Pro | After the last picture, now that I look at it carefully, it looks more like melted metal (kind of like mercury) than glass. The edges remind me of the T-1000 from Terminator 2; you know, the liquid metal, shape-transforming cyborg. Your edges are reflecting, though they should actually be refracting.
