Samples usually involve more colour; actually match the requirements; aren't just different shapes of the same thing; look like work has gone into them.
The above meets none of those requirements Not to mention I suspect the whole ten minutes was just pasting effects onto different shapes and pasting the text.
 
Why not actually do something with this, and bother to try and just make what he asked for, exactly as he asked, and we'll see if you're actually any good.

I don't see why I should make one for him, thetmyster is doing a fine job I am criticising you because, you seem to think you are an amazing graphical artist - if so you should be able to take, and should be grateful for, criticism. Besides, looking at your work so far, you need some criticism
 
If you are a 'professional' who doesn't work for free, then why not show us a sample of work you have done previously? How do you expect to get a job when you don't even show people what your work is like?
