by the way, I tried your world globe tutorial Neil it's great , my problem was that I used a bad map as the background...

I will post my result as soon as I find a better map...  

here's my result of your tutorial Neil as you see i've done some minor changes to  the reflectiones, but my map isn't very good... so if anyone has a better map, please let me know!!!

I thought of that, but I decided to post it here since nobody else had posted their results in the tutorial

I've been working on the G2 Tux tutorial for a long time, and finally I got it right!!!  
I don't bother posting the result of the tutorial, 'cause I haven't personalised it yet, but you can see  it in my new sig.
