I currently have Photoshop Elements 2 installed.
I know It's old, but is it similar  to what you guys use?
by the way, I might be asking some very stupid questons
in future, because this is so new and complex to me.

Hi and welcome on Crystal XP F2theD :jap:

If you wish to, you can introduce yourself in this topic

I don't think photoshop elements is really powerfull, you know, even its fourth version only contains Photoshop's basic functions ... Maybe that this application'll be powerfull enough to let you follow our tutorials but, I'd recommend you to give a try to The Gimp (or to its portable version) which is a freeware, or maybe to download a trial version of Photoshop :oui:

Yes, I've heard pf the GIMP, but does it have the same functionality as photoshop?
I mean, Is the User Interface the same? Thank you,

Photoshop and TheGIMP have similar possibilities.  :oui:
Some people would say Photoshop is better, but these people haven't tried TheGIMP.
But the user interface is different.
The main difference between Photoshop and TheGIMP is the price (GIMP is free and open-soucre and Photoshop is expensive and proprietary).
In addition, the majority of CrystalXP users use Photoshop, so you will find more Tutorials for Photoshop on this site.
But there are more and more tutorials for TheGIMP here (especially in the French section).  :mdr:

I dont know if I am late here, but here is a bunch of my work (I am Jeff, my friend is Alex), it is still being updated, a lot of which was done in Photoshop  Elements 2. It may not have all of the features of Photoshop or GIMP, but it gets the job done!

Really nice stuff enigma- :great:

Yes as you said it'll take some time to finish (even with ImageReady or Photoshop) but when you're done you'll be happy about it
