although i've been broswing this site for ages i have only just registed  

Is there a tutorial that explains how to add a logo on a Tux? e.g. http://tux.crystalxp.net/index.php?pngid=993 ?

Any help much appreciated as i am a beginner in photoshop.

Hi there, Can you show the logo and the tux you are willing to merge? And in fact it's simple to add the logo, just drag the logo to the tux window using Move tool. And place it under the reflection 1& 2 of stain.

See how to craete a G2 tux here (it's a little advanced but you'll get it easily if you read carefully)

I've tried to add the logo using bits and pieces from the tutorial above but haven't managed to do it  

i have attached the logo that i want to add to the belly of the tux

i guess i am just too rubbish at photoshop!

I think the easiest way to add a logo to a tux is this:

1. Open the tux. ( In Photoshop...)

2. Then go to File Place then select the logo you want to add.

3. Rezise the logo so that it fits, and then place it wherever you want, by clicking inside the box that appears around the logo, so that you can drag it to the position you want.

Don't worry, everybody has to start somewhere, I'm sure you'll learn more in Photoshop as long as you keep trying...

Good job... I think that if you could find a bigger logo with a higher resolution and put a reflection on it it would be perfect...

Could you get me a bigger logo (or tell to what its for) and I'll have a go...

You can design your own

what is that a logo of? If it is yours, and that is the only size, Inkscape is the way to go!

I used a Gaussian Blur and then a sharpen... with other random stuff...

One more question, how did you get that logo on the Tux that you did?  Did you use Inkscape?  And how do I enlarge it like that?

I didn't make the logo big...  it was enigma... he posted a big one that he enlarged....

I just saved it and used the logo...
