How to reduce the Resolution of an image.

Hi! Guyz I need to know how to reduce the Resolution of an image or wallpaper in photoshop (CS2) .For example if an image or wallpaper has a 12000x900 Resolution then how to bring it to 240x320 Resolution.so, i could use the wallpaper or image in my mobile.Plz explain me step by step as i am completely new to this.Thnx in advance. :smile:

Open up the document in CS2 that you want to resize.

 

The go to "Image" on the menu bar, and select "Image Size...". (The shortcut alt-ctrl-I may also work)

 

Then type in your new size in pixels, and press ok and the image should scale down :smile:

 

If you uncheck "Constrain Proportions" in the image size box that pops up you will be able to enter both pixel values separately as opposed to them changing automatically on what you type.

Thnx .Ghost. :great:  when i resized a.gif image, the image was resized but it's animation was lost.plz give me a solution how to resize the .gif image.Thnx in advance :smile:
can any anyone plz give me a link in deviantart where i can find all the football club wallpapers and logos.

I think you will have to resize all the frames of the animation as separate images in order to , there does not seem to me any other option :neutral:

Man, you can also try this:

 

Open the image with PS, then:

 

File -> Save For Web and Devices. In the window that appears click on Image Size and enter the new Resolution :wink:
