You need (two options):
1. patched uxtheme - then You download theme from net, many are on deviantArt (personally my favourite)
2. ...Blinds - as I don't like this app I won't recommend it 
Btw, Styler changes toolbar - not taskbar.  | |

Profil: Moderator | You need to edit the VS to modify the taskbar , you can do so by StyleBuilder (shareware) or Resource-Hcaker (free) but the method is complex | |

quaz1957 Profil: New Penguin | gee..im fairly new here....and as per my reading these posts. although, im facinated by computerization and customization, it seems pretty complex and not easy to know where to start.

quaz1957 Profil: New Penguin | im running windows xp sp3 and not had much luck with uxtheme. anyone have any sugestions? by the way, i have installed bricoxp vista inspirat2. it's very nice and the sound is an awesome improvement to xp sound scheme. i also, have many of the bells/whistles of vista, thanks to crystalxp.net and i don't feel confident enough to start playing around windows hidden files. so, if any of you talented professionals have any suggestions, feel free to send me an encouraging word. thanks! | |
quaz1957 Profil: New Penguin | im not new to computing and i wasn't aware that users could have the ability to customize their pc's. customization is new to me and i admit, it's eye opening and exciting too. at current, my pc has a brand new look and with all the other vista additions, computing has become fun again. if anyone reads my posts and would like to reply to my coments, feel free bcuz, according my readings here, if id like to continue learning about all the different aspects of windows customization, i have alot of reading ahead of me. i don't suppose microsoft or pc oems want most users customizing their pcs. is an observation, as per my conversations with HP. if anyone has any comments, pls reply. thanks!
