Hi everybody,

I first tried the french part of this forum, but without finding an answer to this so universal question "how (the Hell) to write like on a cylinder?".

I'll try to clarify : the idea is to write like if it was an a bottle. That means writing on an ellipse BUT with vertical letters. It is NOT an arch, or a standard "write along a path". It would be "write along a path, with vertical letters". The goal is, obviously, to conserve the right perspective...

Thank you!

Perhaps you can find an example image of the effect you are trying to reach somewhere for us?

In fact the "effect" is the one you see when you look, in the real everyday life, at a can... It's just "prespective effect", nothing supernatural

It's why I think there's a way of doing it pretty simply...

This is a good example, because my project has quite the same proportions. Here's another strange example (It is written "Human Meat. Head with bones (2 pieces). First choice   )

:mdr: You can fold words on the cylinder, first write the words in vertical then add these words in the symbol box. Then make your cylinder 3d then go to it's appearance and click on the map art then add your symbol (words) and set it, then press ok  .
