i have been greatly into Macs lately, and i was wondering if anybody knew a way to create a background similar to the one the comes as a defaulf on Macs;

i have tried the web, but i can not find a decent tutorial, or one with screeenshots.

can anybody help?

You can find a good tutorial here. You'll need to know some basic Pen Tool techniques for this one though.  

That's a good tutorial (even though I don't know the pen tool), but it doesn't look as good as the real thing!

Yea, and some of us (me) don't know how to use the pen tool !

the pen tool is a very basic tool
all you need to do is mess around with it
i will find a tutorial that will give you more knowledge about the pen tool, i will edit in a few minutes

Believe me or not, it's done with the Pen Tool probably!  

yes it probabaly is but i would really appreciate it if someone would provide a tutorial not only for me but for others

I think it can be made in photoshop with Pen tool , let me dispose my exams and I will give it a try then.
