so im trying to install one of these vista themes on my computer. i have read the threads from earlier but it is jsut not working. i have tried version 2.1 and also the universal 5.0. i install it, restart my computer, and the windows graphics property comes up when i open the .msstyles file but there are no new themes installed. help? thanks

Have you patched the uxtheme.dll?

If not you need a patcher. Please download fromhereand patch your file.  

ok. i downloaded 4.0 and it says "please wait about one minute to cancel windows file protection or patching operation fail. do not insert your setup CD at this time. after you've canceled all windows file protection, clock the finish button to exit and restart your computer." but how do i cancel windows file protection? am i supposed to do that of is the program automatically does that im confused

This Pop-Up was the fileprotection ... simply cancel the Pop-Up-Message

hmmm. i clicked finish and restarted my computer and opened the theme files from resources/themes but its not installing...

ok let me do some reasearch
i did the same thing to my old XP
i just forgot the site
