hi,
i'd like to know how to get the vista shell icons.
for example the 'back' and 'forward' icons used in every window opened with vista..how can i get them?
i wanted to make a skin for the browser i use, and i'd like to use those icons or the ones that are used in internet explorer 7.
can anyone help me?

You can download Vista icons from here.I am not sure whether they contain all the icons you want.You can assist Photoshop for creating your own icons.You can also use ResHack to extract icons from shell32.dll file located in "SystemDrive/Windows/System32/" folder in case you have Vista installed on your PC.

I would like to insall new Media Centre Style on Windows XP Pro. Please tell me how I can do it. I have already downloaded this skin but now I have files .dll and don't know where I should put this file.

Use IconTweaker or IconChanger.Most of the Windows' default icons are stored in shell.dll and shell32.dll files.You can also search Windows Media Center's icons in .ico and .png types from web.In both softwares you have to change the  icons manually.In IconTweaker ,you have to change it only once.After changing icons you can assemble them in .icontweaker theme file.

Why do you want to get your icons on a .dll file?If you want to apply icons from a .dll file then simply use IconTweaker and if you want to pack them in a single file the use Winrar or Winzip.
