It looks like you have fuzzied up the borders of the eagle, I think you should add the same effect to the whole body, try it and show me the result!

What Neil and Gruzz have said is what I also would have suggested, it just needs a little tidy up so maybe run the blur or smudge tool around the edges for a softer finish

pedro, if I just simplify what we're saying here,

The fuzzyness of your Eagle has somewhat disabled the borders of the eagle's picture,

So you could add some effect like 'Blur' to get it right or,
You can merge the layers (Ctrl+Shift+E) and then add some blendings like Inner Glow, Stroke (law opacity)
