| TAFO Profil: New Penguin | Hi all...how to add a "url" in an image...using photoshop cs2...i want 2 add several "url"(s) in once image..i mean one image, for example, is seperated into 3 parts vertically or horizontally, each part has its own link, got me? i'm making u sick, right? | |
Didas le soleil se lève avant moi, je me couche après lu Profil: God of Penguins | the picture itself wont have a link inside but by cutting it into 6 parts, you'll be able to give 6 different links (one per image) even if the visitor can only see one pic. this is not made by photoshop or any of these softwares, you'll have to do it using XHTML & CSS
Gruzz Profil: Moderator | Didas and Tafo, have you thought about ImageReady? I am not sure if you got this software Tafo, but if you got, your problem is very easily fixed. Click the lowest button of the toolbar to go into ImageReady (assuming that you got it). Now you pick the slice tool. Click-drag it, just as if you were using the Rectangular Marquee, the area you select should be one of the parts you want to add a URL on (If you don't see the slices, click View -> Show -> Slices). Make as many slices as you need. Now activate/switch to a tab called 'Slice', standard it is next to Table and Image Map. From here, it is pretty easy. Where it says URL: you put the URL you want. Where it says ALT: you can put the text that will show up if you move your mouse over it or if the image doesn't load. Good luck, I hope I could have been of any help!
