Hi everyone

I've been searching for a tutorial on how to draw a guitar in photoshop, but I can't find any.

So if someone can post a quick tutorial on how to draw a guitar, it would love it.

On this picture juste look at the guitar because the tux is not very beautiful

I was thinking that someone could tell me what tools to use, since I'm not very good at photoshop.  

BTW the tux was very nice!  

I Suggest that you find a guitar. Render it, crystallize and done. And,you could mix with other styles/Filters too. Maybe recolor?

Hmm, to create your own guitar, you can use a picture of an true one and use it with pen tool to draw a shape for the tuto.

And as RoCkKK said it's a long tutorial to follow then

But what Nan0me told here is also achieveble and also short.

I don't think I'll be able to do a tuto since I'm very busy at the moment but I'll try when I'm done with them and If nobody has done such till then

In the mean time try to do some things with Photoshop and figure out ways to design a guitar

Try to do THIS TUTORIAL.  

You'll get a lot better when you'll be able to use the Pen Tool.  (not my case )

Hmm, I was able to design a guitar but I don't know whether it's successful or not
anyway here is a preview,

I used the method given by RoCkKK, (I let my own creativity do the job for me )

I used Pen tool, and Shape tools to achieve the shape and the Gradient tool with Paint bucket tool to colorise and give the reflections.
Oh I musn't forget the Marque tool

I manage get the right shape on the body itself, but not the neck of the guitar...

hope you can help me...

For the neck, you can use a rectanguler shape or marque selection filled with color as a new layer. then just scale and rotate the rectangle to look as the guitar neck. (first it'll be useful to use perspective transformation for the rectangle to get the look of the far end )

And if you have somes difficulties to create somes shapes with the pen tool, you can go on Google to pick up a picture of guitar and after do the tutorial of banana.boy ... It will be long but beautiful !  

Try this, (to get the shape of the neck part01)
Select Marque tool and drow a rectangle. then fill it with a color

Then press Ctrl+T to select transformation.
Right click on the transforming object and select Prespective mode

Move your cursor over the point 'a' and click and drag towards the direction of the arrow for a short distance.

Then you'll recieve this,

Now rotate the shape and make it fit to the body
Now the main thing for the guitar neck is done but still little left like drawing wires and other sections in the neck
You can use line tool to overcome these needs

Yes quite right, but except one thing drawing a shape of a guitar which is available is not hard but easy

It didn't come out too well , but I've got some new ideas, and I'll try and make a new one with a different shape.

It's a nice start but the image is small (guitar) you can heve more flexibility by designing a much bigger one (like mine )

Yes, I saw that, but I was so pleased with the shape of the guitar, that I didn't wan't to ruin it...
