Have installed RocketDock after seeing it on BBC News Click programme at weekend.  Have successfully installed and used new icons to replace standard ones but have spent hours trying to get docklets to work - especially Stacks Docklet.  Have watched about 10 YouTube videos showing how to do it and have followed these exactly - all docklets have been downloaded, files extracted and put in the Program Files\Rocketdock\Docklets folder.  Then RocketDock closed and restarted yet none of the downloaded docklets appear when I right click in the Dock and scroll to Add Item - only RocketDock Clock Docklet shows up.
Any advice/help as to how to get this working properly?

Many thanks,
Grumpyoldman

While i dont use windows - I did install this for my partner some time ago and docklets seemed to work fine but they are horribly maintained - in the sense that when an update occurs and the api changes the docklets tend to fall into decay :(

In terms of the stack docklet if i recall it was quite simple to get working (thats the one that produces OS-X draw's if i recall ? well attempts too :P )

anyway from memory! StackDocklet.dll and its images folder goes into the correct docklet path as specified in the rocketdock documentation - im sure it varies between xp and vista so you may need to check that. The trick part if remembering to add the stack docklet which only shows as a little white box - then you need to right click the item and change its properties pointing it to a folder and selecting with the auto method, fan or grid option.

Sorry this is not a very in depth well organized post im trying to think which never goes down well!

Kristoffer - many thanks for your input.

Have got the dll + images folder in Docklet folder as instructed but nothing shows up when I look in the Add Item list after rt clicking in dock area.  Only RocketDock Clock Docklet is there.  Have repeatedly removed and re-downloaded Stack Docklet but can't get any further than the Program File folder.  Strange!!

Forgot to say - am using Dell Inspiron 1720 laptop with 4GB RAM/Pentium Dual Core T2390 1.86GHz running Vista Home Premium SP2 32-bit.
