Hi,
I'm new to this site.
I was wondering if any of you would be able to help me with a wall paper question.

I found this picture on line that I would like to make into a wall paper.  The only problem is that it's a gif.
I tried changing it to a jpg. but it lost all it's quality.  I really hope that this can be done not loosing any of the pic's quality.
I have a 15 inch laptop IDK if that helps.
Below is the pic that I need some help with.
Thank you

I personally don't know why you would want to use such a crappy picture for a wallpaper, but whatever ... you like what you like. :p

Anyway, try capturing it using Print Screen, and pasting and saving it in Paint in the JPEG format.

If you save it, you should be able to just right click and hit "Set as wallpaper"

You can use centered rather than stretch if you want to retain the resolution.

HA HA HA HA
Coach McGurk Is a Character I like from a show called; "Home Movies"  He's a grade school soccer couch So I think Kids are safe (LOL).
This Picture right here captures his true essence.
The Picture looks crapy, because the show is drawn dull....
It would be nice if someone could make this into a HD pic (Idk if thats even possible) I just want a high quality picture if possible.
Thank you all for your responses.

Depends on your operating system. Are you using XP, Vista, or something different?

You can try to remake the picture by using this tutorial.

And please don't post words like IDK. People with a different language have to use a translator and words like IDK won't translate. :)

Right-click your desktop, select Personalize. Now click the second option (Desktop Background). On the bottom of the window, there are several images beneath the text 'How should the picture be positioned'. The middle image is for Center, the image right of that is for 'maintain aspect ratio'. Experiment a bit to see which option you need.
