I apologize if this is posted in the wrong place or if there is already a thread pertaining to this issue, but is there an easy way to make my pics have a white background? I take pics of jewelry and have a light tent, but the pics still come out with an off-white background, which looks ridiculous. I know about the dodge tool, but is there a way to fill the background or something like that? I'm a total noob with this program, so any, ANY help would be much appreciated. (Oh, and plus you can see the weave in the white fabric I use as my background and it looks awful)

If you really need to get a good result I would recomend this tutorial. It takes a very long time though.

Oh, by the way what what program are you using? Photoshop, Gimp, Paint .NET...
