I was going to show you one that I just got for my grandpa's new computer (it was a 24 inch I think, the closest I could get to his current 25 inch so he could Dual Screen. I would get a 25, but his business only have him 1000 for the whole system).

The least the guy could do is set the screen size on that thing! I've seen them in stores and they look like they're set right.
 
One thing that I hate about shopping for monitors in stores, they always just splice one video feed across tons of monitors. You can never see what they are supposed to look like and half of them don't work anyways!
 
I also just hate shopping for computers in places like Best Buy anyways because the people breathe down your neck and you feel weird trying them out (ironic how I am going to apply for a job at Best Buy... at least until I'm old enough to work at our local Apple Store). In the Apple Stores, if you're hesitant to use them they say "Go ahead, we want you to try them out! Get comfortable with 'em." It's really great!

Well in my experience, going for the more expensive (or at least not the cheapest) products and checking their respective ratings online usually is an excellent way for ensuring you get the best quality gadgets.

It's like this with almost all parents of our age. They believe they're so tech-savvy, though they can't even perform tasks as simple as installing Windows or even Firefox.

Finally got my favorite OS installed! Windows 2000!!!!    It only crashed a few times during the set up but its smooth now!
 

 
Xubuntu is next hopefully without any porblems
