That's not how I recall it. They where saying that Gmail offered several things, of which I remember the following as the most prominent.    
- Search function
- Labels
- Big inbox size
- An high quality spam filter

I'd never use unlimited space anyway, on my Hotmail account I have up to 5Gb's and I've been using "1%" for the past three years basically. I just don't need unlimited space for emails.

I remember a time back in 2000 when even as low as 20 messages could give you a full inbox. Those were the days...
 
PS - This is so weird, Firefox doesn't have "inbox" in its dictionary. It's underlining it in red!

I've noticed a much reduced activity in crystal XP now,  
 
may it be the interface overhaul , no new bricopack , or the time itself..
 
back in 2007 , this place used to buzz with visitors. tens of new posts daily..  
 
users come and go.. , a few are regular. . and fewer, have always always been around.
 
But I like crystal XP, I've learned a lot from here.
 
but I'm sad, the box crashed and all artwork is gone.

Personally I'm posting less because the new interface is driving me mad, if there have been several new posts then I just get a long lists of topics that have had new posts so I just ignore them. When they were all separate sections laid out as you clicked I'd usually check every single topic, now I'm mostly ignoring them

Well new posts are still emphasized with the coloured tux/folder and the flags now ... so I don't really see how it's all that different.  
 
And the reason I think there are fewer members now is that the French and English forums are completely isolated now. Earlier, a few people from the French section would invade the French section and vice-verse. Now, it's only us English chums ... all alone.

Yea but I liked clicking the main section, then seeing the sub sections with little penguins so I could tell which had posts and which I could just ignore I preferred it that way

Oh well, three-quater of the forum members to help those that come by now and then. Not a problem for me.  

yup, 300 posts  in one and a half year is sufficient for me.

I once got banned for having 6000 posts in one year on a forum...
They said I posted too much.

I've a tripple boot, and I'm stuck with bootloaders, but still (at least for experimental purposes)
looking for a quad boot.

...ummm... I'm not really the best person to ask about that. I don't use Linux that much, but there is something about it that I like better than Ubuntu. Actually NeoWin just did a review on it

How can you be serious on a gaming forum? I kind of have to on the one that I am Co-Admin on but... that is just professionalism. Even then I let loose once in a while (some of us have a inside joke about Ranch dressing, and evil charlie (as in the unicorn, video on youtube))
