For businesses yes, beta is still active though. Consumer purchase isn't available till June, 15th I believe.

Point is, it looks like Ubuntu! This is so non-typical-windows it's scary

I was so shocked, it appeared in my genius app suggestions, and I was just like "Hey, I remember that, wonder how well it works..." so downloaded it. Now I have used it...
 
Woah! I can now leave my laptop on the log in screen, with the top closed so it won't be expending too much energy or overheat or anything, and then access it form anywhere, anytime! Haven't still got a practical applicaton but oh well.
And of course if any of my friends are having computer problems I can help out on my iPod and the TV client if I'm too lazy to turn on my computer

Now will someone please agree Office 2010 looks like it should be on Ubuntu not Windows? I mean seriously, it's relatively clean, rounded, no horribly glass effects going off or shiny blue buttons from the future!

I've been using 2010 since it was Technical Preview, so I can say that yes it does look very Ubuntuesque and is much cleaner. The "backstage" view really reminds me of something from a Linux base.

If you saw backstage in the TP you would think it was even more like Ubuntu. Rather than the white background and colored corner, it was a black gradient with a colored highlight in the middle that was the "color of the program" if you know what I mean.

Oh, and I had some cake today... and it was "delicious and moist"

hmmmmm, i have office 2007, you can change the app color of word, excel etc etc, to either black silver or blue...

You can do that in 2010 as well, but by app color I meant the color that represents each one (for example Word is blue, Excel is green, etc)

Starting to learn Blender, but I'm going for the learn by doing approach (that's as opposed to the reading-the-interface-tutorial-and-then-suddenly-realise-there-aren't-any-amazingly-good-beginner-tutorials-and-panic approach). I'll be releasing my amazing 3D thing in a few days

Also, you don't have to change the margins to 1" from 1.25" every time you start a paper in MLA format! And even then, it's easier to change in 07/10 than in 03.

Of course, my school is still on XP and 03. They also have (on the computers in the library) Photoshop 5 Limited Edition I think they used to have CS1 on them...

I tried to open a psd this morning and it had too many layers for the program to handle.

My school currently runs on XP with Office 2000, and I think we have Photoshop 7 and Macromedia Suite 7 which occasional (like 1 in 100 times) request the registration key to continue using the product - hmm, bit off...

Blender just crashed on me, a good half hours work down the drain. I can't be bothered right now, I shall redo the four lights, edited mesh, repositioned and re-parented objects later.
