turtle bacon Profil: Top Penguin | Oh that I'm still scoping out parts.
I'm not sure on the Graphics card. And I would really like a Dx11 card. Message edited by turtle bacon on 05-05-2010 at 03:18:07 AM ---------------

Tanshin Profil: Penguin Pro | By the way, I'm personally a fan of the WD Black series. They have longer warranties too I believe. That's a fairly new mobo too, with it's USB3 By the way, do you get the promo code e-mails? Message edited by Tanshin on 05-05-2010 at 03:25:25 AM ---------------

| |
turtle bacon Profil: Top Penguin | Personally to myself no. But my father I believe does to his email.
I was hoping is had usb 3.0. And I saw eSata and Hd audio so thats both pluses.
Will the case work? I saw that the mobo and case were ATX mids. And will the combo's PSU have enough wattage for a decent Video card? ---------------

So this is what I whipped up at 9:30 at night in about ten minutes: http://nintendoaddict.com/downloads/invoice.pdf It's a little pricier, but the promo code would pay for the shipping (if you shipped to my zip code ) Now, I do not know your budget, nor whether you'd need burners. If you need a burner, I recommend this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6827249051 It's pricey, but it's a great drive. As for the case, I don't know much about it, however I'm a huge fan of the one I chose. It has these great brackets for your drives and the drives stay really secure. The PSU I chose I just ordered myself to replace one that burnt out, and it's really nice. Your PSU should be able to handle nice video cards. If you look in the specs for the card, it should say a recommended wattage. But that's what I did quickly. I'll have to look deeper though, but that's what I'd do! EDIT: Well, they used to have recommended wattage Message edited by Tanshin on 05-05-2010 at 03:53:39 AM ---------------

dazza Profil: Big Penguin | hehe, computers have so many variants!
and i swear to god i will punch the head of blackberry in the face for his sh!t house upgrades get this:
upgrading phone firmwear:
download 100 meg exe file
run, find system file,
run system file.
THEN IT DIDNT EVEN WORK,
is it really that hard to have a upgrade thingie in desktop manager??

Tanshin Profil: Penguin Pro | I guess the biggest thing you have to consider is which of the following is the most important to you:
1. Spending a little more to get the more advanced hardware
2. Spending less now for current technologies, but having to spend extra later on for upgrades
I mean, the only thing I've seen with USB3 so far are some of Lacie's newer products. As for SATA 6Gbps, I guess that's a little more common. ---------------

Wasn't that a long time ago? I think they were demo boxes or something that were incorrectly shipped by Intel and I would imagine it was corrected by now. ---------------

Tanshin Profil: Penguin Pro | I totally forgot a CPU didn't I... EDIT: So I'm going through here, and it seems like downgrading is actually raising the price EDIT2: No, it's not... I forgot that I didn't have a CPU last night Okay, updated invoice: http://nintendoaddict.com/downloads/invoice2.pdf I took the wattage down 100W, however I'm sticking with a 600 from OCZ. I've had very good luck with their PSUs, and the first one I had from another company (it was a 400 or 450W) had a cord that got dangerously hot. Never had that problem with the OCZ (except for dust in our house binding the fan causing it to overheat, but that's my fault). I also remembered the CPU this time! YAY! There are also a ton of rebates too, and the shipping has dropped to a number closer to $20 (which is roughly the promo code!). The promo code applies to the hard drive, which is 1TB. Why 1TB? Because it was cheaper to go with a high size and promo code, than a low size and no code. Message edited by Tanshin on 05-05-2010 at 09:41:03 PM ---------------

It's also a forum. I'm part of it and I think can give you guys registration codes.
Anyways about the site it uses a command style imput, no mouse is needed. Which is really neat.
Edit: will doing a full install of windows remove Ubuntu completely and free my disk space? ---------------

If you have a Windows and Ubuntu partitions, you can just remove the Ubuntu partition and rebuild your bootloader. If you have only Ubuntu, you can format the Ubuntu partitions and put windows over it. ---------------

I only have Ubuntu so Just popping in the windows disk will do its work and I don't need to do any commands? Also if you would like to have a u413.com invite private message me. Hurry because I only have 5 codes and after Friday they're useless. And they won't be giving out free invites, they will be $20 each. Which I think is outrageous. ---------------

Tanshin Profil: Penguin Pro | I don't understand what that site is
You'll have to do some formatting and such because there will be a partition for your swap space, home folder, and os files (I believe that's how it divided) all in a logical partition, which needs to be formatted itself into unallocated space. ---------------
