Well... next week is Veterans Day (Wednesday), however I'm not sure how colleges really observe that. I know we have the day off (High School).

I believe the next big thing is Thanksgiving on the 26th...
After that we then have Christmas in December.

I'm just surprised that he's not on Fall Break or something, or hasn't had fall break...

Remembrance Day, Wednesday 11th Nov. 2 minutes silence, 11:00 on the 11th of the 11th.

My college probably won't do anything, got completely ignored bar by respectful teachers two years ago, didn't see anything last year either.. well, I'll be having my legal 2 minutes silence regardless. Marching the colours (flag) in a parade on Sunday.

We used to have a 2 minute moment of silence on 9-11, however that was in elementary school. Now we do a ten to twenty second one (can't take time out of classes!)

Eh. My college gets the day off on the Monday of that week. Although I wouldn't mind at all if they gave me both days off. =P

Well, finally got around to installing Ubuntu under Paralells, just to find that v5.0 is out :@@@@
at least its only 49.99$ cause i have 4 :S

and i found a great nifty tool for downloading Full quality IPlayer To Ubuntu / Linux.

and the binaries and all the stuff that legace will just correct me on (so i wont bother :lol: )

Isn't there some kind of upgrade thing you could do with Parallels. Maybe you could say "Hey, I just bought this..."
