Are you citing your references properly? If it says References, that usually means APA style... so let's say you are citing your first reference, you would use this at the end of your sentence: (Kumar, 2009)
But I'm just being cautious. I haven't fully read it yet (when I first saw the [8] I thought you were copying from Wikipedia, which is bad ) ---------------

uttaresh The Penguin Master Profil: Penguin Pro | Hehe, thanks. And I was asked to use MLA 7 format, which is what I've done. I'm not asking for spelling, grammar, or format mistakes ... what did you guys think of the paper itself? Message edited by uttaresh on 12-09-2009 at 09:26:02 AM ---------------

Tanshin Profil: Penguin Pro | I've used MLA, but never MLA 7 so I'm sure it's fine. I know you're not looking for grammer and structure but, this sentence is really bugging me:
Quote :
In this paper, I will endeavor to answer these questions.
|
If my english teacher saw that, she would scream. Just saying I just ran into this:
Quote :
non-sequential programs; exempli gratia in word processing program
|
I'm not sure if that is an error from the .doc being converted/used in Pages, but I'm thinking you were trying to say "for example?" But I'd say that you've got a very solid paper. The info presented and how you present far outweighs the two above things that I mentioned, by far. Off-topic: Did I ever tell you how much I LOVE wake-on-lan? Tanshin Profil: Penguin Pro | As long as we have an English contributor, I think it would be great.
I've done newsletters for my site, however none of the members ever contributed to it, so I forgot about it. It worked well for a while, especially since it brought older members back for about a week after it was sent. ---------------

ROTFL, who would put that on Facebook?? And Gruzz Sounds like a great idea, but not if it will advertise stuff! (like products to buy, Conetsts etc would be nice though.) Message edited by thetmyster on 12-09-2009 at 05:21:39 PM ---------------

Tanshin Profil: Penguin Pro | I don't know why they would advertise that stuff... they don't on the site.
When I did my newsletter I did announcements from Nintendo, recent reviews from members, etc. ---------------

uttaresh The Penguin Master Profil: Penguin Pro | Thanks, Tanshin. Exempli gratia = e.g. (Latin for "for example" ) Why would your English teacher scream if she saw that? Endeavor seems like the correct word there, what's wrong with it? Message edited by uttaresh on 12-09-2009 at 05:55:48 PM ---------------

Would be great concerning on existing members but the impact is less or rather indirect for those who're members to become I think it's great to spread the word on what's new happening here And also mind you, It should be in English too Edit* Oops! I just found out that I've not subscribed for the newsletter in my Profile

Tanshin Profil: Penguin Pro | So there is a possibility that I lost my past few days of work just now. I had to restore my backup of my testing partition (new beta test was released), and it may have overridden both of my partitions. I'm thinking it's just a problem with BCD, so I'm going to check that now cause I don't think I would lose both partitions. EDIT: Just a bootloader issue (THANK GOD!) It's amazing how reliant I am with EasyBCD... hopefully my manual fixes worked... (it's taking a long time to boot...) Message edited by Tanshin on 12-09-2009 at 07:26:31 PM ---------------

And a note to people: Make sure you actually let butter soften (like most recipes say) before using a hand-held mixer to cream it. If you don't (like I just did), there will be sticks of butter going all over the place. ---------------

No, she just hates it when people say things like "in this paper" or "this paragraph." Endeavor is a great word And I never knew e.g. stood for that. Learn something new every day

Well, as this paper actually supplements a presentation, I think it would be OK to tell people what I plan to do. *sneaks up behind Gruzz while he is not looking*SUPER GLOMP ATTACK! Message edited by uttaresh on 12-09-2009 at 09:06:05 PM ---------------
