You should keep the COA on the computer, Microsoft does require it to be affixed to the equipment.

Well... as an OEM builder they require it to be affixed when delivering the product. I'm sure the end user can do whatever with it.

I had the WORST possible case of exam nerves yesterday ... Chemistry. I knew ALL of the answers, but I skipped 35% because I was soooo nervous, for some reason.
I still got A+ in Math and French, but I always do ... so I don't give a shit about that. I'm not very good at Chem, and yesterday was my one chance to redeem myself, and I blew it!

Neil Chances are not had but gained....... Profil: Penguin Pro | 5000+ I think there should be God of Penguins But all I see is Penguin Pro among those who have been active descendants since the old CrXP times The problem here is that either the Far descendants are now intermittent/no longer active & the Most active members are Late descendants Probably the Admins should be over 5000 Anyway I've crossed 50% & I'm now in 2710 posts Edit* Hey, As I said Our Mr.dlb is a God of Penguins (8773 posts) & Didas is more than him (9123 posts) But since both of them are Admins The Rankings are ineffective for them There can be more

1000% exceptionally correct Gruzzie Truly, that's what we all have to cheer from our inside I agree, It has been a long time since CrXP was first launched (I've even not being a member then) & It had sailed a long journey upto now. Within that journey, many of the environment surrounding it has changed, for example, I can recall in 2005 & 2006 period, we were out-loaded by lots of members seeking solutions for various types of questions & imaginations they had I recall I staying intermittently connected to the net from my very old PC & all the time when I log to CrXP there was a new topic or a topic update . Well, then after I was not here for nearly 2 years (which is irrelevant here) What I have in mind is that With the introduction of the New Windows OSs, we had some what of a member decline in our forum, but there is no obvious reason for that we're all fluent in all those upgreads & more or less we've a brilliant team of active members who're fluent in other OSs such & Linux, Mac, & programming section as well I wonder there is any misleading among the new visitors that "CrystalXP is a site totally dedicated to Windows XP only" Sometimes this thought may hinder the Vista & 7 support within our forum And if you see the home page, @ Gruzz This is what I wanted to tell you sometime back remember? Other than the customizing section, we also had a declining of member activity in Graphic section And also we had less new tutorials coming out from our Ps Gurus What I see under the Home page is what I was very familiar with (Some of the early tutors are no longer active with us now but we do have new talenteds ) 1 I think the introduction of a new Shell system bricopack for 7 will change a lot here 2 And also some more fresh attractive & creative tutorials. 3 We also need to influence the new Graphic releases from our members which we already do now but a little more than that, Generally, People like less long threads 4 And also how about any update feed from forum to the Home page where Guest visitors can know what's hot in Forums So what do you guys have in mind regarding this (perhaps I may wrong about my observations)

Tanshin Profil: Penguin Pro | A feed would definitely help out, and so would... well... what you mentioned! I'm not sure how the French side is doing (I don't really go on there... ever), however the activity on the English has sharply declined. It's now gone to people being frantic in the Support area, usually never to come back after their initial post, and the Off Topic area. One of the things that we need to consider is what we're all doing right now. Most of us are either in high level classes or college/university. I'm also stage managing a musical. Many of us just don't have time to be creating stuff. As for me, I've just been busy and haven't had much inspiration. While this is a far-fetched idea, maybe the site needs a makeover. For as long as I can remember (which was back to when I first showed up years ago (don't even remember when that was)), the site has looked the same. Maybe we should work on developing into a different direction. I could really picture something very minimalistic for this site, that would look fabulous. When I upload the picture of the Bamboo box in the product design thread, you'll maybe see it too. EDIT: And I'm fairly certain my join date was before what is listed in my profile. I remember coming here a few years ago and looking at a tutorial, and then I think I posted there too. Then I forgot about the place, then came back and became active. ---------------

True, Since all of us act here voluntarily, It's a matter of self satisfaction But no one can ask another to do stuff like that It's correct As example, I was trying to do a new tutorial for the Ps tutorial section since my re-assignment but just can't have the time. | |
